PEDERNALES CELLARS, located on over 146 acres of prime Hill Country land with commanding views of the Pedernales River valley near Stonewall, the location and facility are truly one of a kind. The tasting room and oak tree shaded decks of the hospitality space facilitate exceptional customer service to the thousands of visitors and wine club customers that come out each year for daily tastings and events at the site. The production facility consists of approximately 15,500 SF and is capable of producing around 25,000 cases of wine per year. The facility is built into the side of a hill using structural concrete construction, has two levels, uses geothermal cooling along with natural earthen insulation providing storage for over 600 barrels of wine. Production space includes 46,500 gallons of stainless-steel tank capacity, glycol chilling with catwalk access. A separate building is located just off the crush pad that is 3,600 SF and used for on-site case storage in a conditioned steel frame building with foam insulation. With sustainability in mind, there is 50,000 gallons of rainwater storage capacity from roof collections system. The winery was established in 2005 and has been the recipient of many awards over the years from coast to coast. Architectural plans produced by Lake Flato Architects for additional event and hospitality space are ready for construction by a new ownership.
